This post is a continuation of my post How You Can Benefit Most From No-Bid Freelance Sites. The first post focused on how clients can benefit from the use of such sites. Now its time for real bosses, the writers, to get their share of information on how they can stop being at the mercy of those bid sites that do very little when you want to be a writer other than provide a means of payment, and take a huge chunk of the writer's earnings. Yes they do! And even penalize you for doing repeated business with them. Be smart and choose the better way to make money.

Find the site

This is the hard part. Although it can be hard to be accepted into the writing teams in these sites, it is not as hard as bidding for a one time project. Remember, the administrators of these sites normally look for the writer who can work on a multitude of projects rather than someone to work on a certain project only. This means that a weakness that might prevent you from landing the job can be easily ignored if you have strength in another area making you the writer they want.

However, I know the problem is not being accepted rather it's finding the right site to work for. I've already listed a few sites to start you off elsewhere to help you overcome the hurdle of getting the best site. Once you have established the best site, you can formulate a strategy for acceptance.

Acceptance Strategy

You already know that these sites aim to have only the writers who can make good teams to handle all the projects they get from clients. The secret is to make sure you are the writer they are looking for. Am assuming you have worked with the bid sites therefore you have gauged yourself from the feedback you got from your employers. If you are new, trial and error will still work. You can also read a lot of the content you find online and especially hubs like this to gauge where your writing lies.

You should also write a few articles and post them online through directories such as ezine and articlebase. If they are accepted, you can be sure that you are the writer required since your content is worthy. Actually, most of the work you will be doing will be posted in similar directories. Therefore, if your work is accepted with no hitches, half the battle is won. Ezine also has a great editorial guide which if followed to the letter will transform you into an expert SEO writer immediately. You must also try to iron out any issues you might have with grammar; Most of these sites look for Native writers, so you must write like one even if you are not a native. After this, you can send your application. Most sites will ask for a specific sample before they can accept you the writer they want for their team therefore be ready to provide a perfect copy.

Payment And Schedules

Before, you can start jumping that you have landed the best opportunity in your life, make sure you understand the payment mode and schedule offered by the site. Some pay every weekend, once a week, after every two weeks or every end month. You can therefore make the necessary plans for the schedule to work for you. However, that is not the big problem. The payment option is the biggest issue. Most sites will look for the writer who can accept PayPal payments only. Therefore, if PayPal does not support payments in your country, you might have lost the biggest opportunity in your life.

Maintaining Quality

What ails many writers who choose this path is the idea that once they are welcomed into the writing team at the no bid site, the battle is won. This is far from the truth. What I've noted is that such sites normally keep track of the quality of the content offered by the writers. The best writers are noted and offered preferential treatment. For instance, when there is a limited job cycle, only the best writers will have work while the rest will keep refreshing and reloading job pages hoping for a new task. Being a good writer also means you face less harsh disciplinary actions compared to other writers.

At least now you can relax, set your own goals, sit back and watch the income build up. You are the writer everyone is looking for! You'll only need to log in a few hours every day, pick your preferred jobs, work on them and submit them. Once your brain is accustomed to this routine, you will find you have limited obligations. A word of advice though; choose a site where admin is involved in quality control, not the clients themselves.
